The singing competition is being organised to promote awareness against drowning. The participants should know about the rules, liability, and data handling practices. We must specify at the outset that the organisers are not responsible for expenses, personal belongings, or damages incurred during the event.

Date Use: The data of participants such as name, photographs or songs sent for the purpose of competition (audio/video or both) shall be used for promotional purpose only and to create awareness about the cause for which the competition has been organised. Any money generated as for example from YouTube hits etc shall go to the HBA foundation for use of creating awareness against drowning.

The organisers own the rights to the competition’s content and materials. The songs, videos submitted to the organisation shall be the property of  the HBA and may be used by the HBA to promote its activities underlined in Advaytham – A Symphony.  The organisers may decide to bring some of these songs in the form of albums etc to generate revenue. In such cases the singers whose songs have been taken for the purpose shall not be entitled to any royalty or claim on those songs.

Force Majeure: The competition event may be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled due to Force Majeure and circumstances outside the control of the organisation. No liability shall be incurred by the organisation under such a situation. The organisers are also not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the competition.

Judgement: Our judges are competent and they will judge performance on the basis of voice quality, stage presence, and technicalities connected with singing. Their decisions are final and cannot be challenged. Mere participation does not entitle anyone to claim a position in the competition. The fee paid shall not be refunded irrespective of selection or not selection. The song selected by participants should be from Bollywood but should not be vulgar or distasteful.

We expect participants to maintain good behaviour including observance of rules, language, attire and respect for judges and other participants.

The organisers reserve their right to change or amend rules of the participation. No liability shall come to the organisation as a result of this.

Indemnification: The participants agree to indemnify the organizers against any claims arising from their participation.

In case of any dispute, the jurisdiction shall stay with the Courts in Delhi.
