• The Hemant Bala Advaitha Foundation (HBA) is a not-for-profit organisation working for the benefit of the downtrodden sections of the society. It is also working to create awareness against drowning and other issues that affect the society adversely.
• The Hemant Bala Foundation (HBA) was founded by Santosh Kumar Verma and Binita Verma in 2023 in memory of their mother/mother-in-law who died during the devastating Covid in 2021. They both wanted to work for the poor section of the society, particularly in the education field.
• Hardly had they recovered from the tragedy that they got the news of drowning of their beloved nephew Advaitha. They changed the name of the organisation to Hemant Bala Advaitha Foundation (HBA). The tragedy shattered the family but it decided to transform the tragedy into fighting for the cause against drowning.
• It has decided to launch this awareness campaign against drowning through the medium of Advaitha- A symphony, a music award that would link up with the youth and pass on the message. The website in the name of advaithasymphony.com shall be devoted to the cause of anti-drowning through music show, talk shows, seminars, conferences, pamphlet distribution and other means in times to come.
• All donations made to HBA are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The HBA has also been registered under section 12A of the Income Tax Act making it eligible to take donations.
• The donation shall be used exclusively for educational purposes and other charitable purposes highlighted in the deed of the organisation.
• Donors are advised to obtain a receipt for the donations and relevant certificate shall be issued in due course. We maintain a proper book of account.
